Crossroads Community Church Invites the Community to our 5th Year Anniversary Celebration Service!
Everyone in the SW Iowa area is invited to Crossroads Community Church for their 5th year Anniversary Celebration Service in Red Oak. The celebratory service will take place Sunday, March 10, 2019 beginning at 9:23 a.m. at the church. The unusual start time is based on
Luke 9:23 KJV 23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Crossroads Community Church is located at 303 East Oak Street in Red Oak. (Come in the north blue doors.) After the service, there will be a potluck fellowship.
Crossroads Community Church had their first service on February 23, 2014, and continued to meet at the Good Samaritan Society of Red Oak in their chapel until July of 2015. The church officially became incorporated with the state of Iowa in July of 2015. The church purchased their current location on January 2nd, 2015 and began meeting there in July of 2015 after partial construction was completed.
Crossroads Community Church is a cooperating church with Heartland Church Network (HCN) of Omaha, Nebraska, The Baptist Convention of Iowa (BCI), where Pastor Ricky A. Rohrig Sr. is on the Executive Board representing SW Iowa, and The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC.)
“I would like to personally thank any and everyone who has prayed for our church, gave of their time, talents, and treasurers, has attended one of our many outreach community events, has or does attend Crossroads, and all the many Southern Baptist Mission teams that have come to serve our community and have worked on our building. We have had mission teams come from Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. It is truly a blessing when we look back five years ago with just a vision from God about a church that would be Godly focused, Jesus CChrist-centered Holy Spirit led, and Mission minded. It’s remarkable to see where God has brought us from and we are excited as we look forward to see what God has in store for our church and community,” says Rev. Ricky A. Rohrig Sr., Founding pastor of Crossroads Community Church
For those who are unable to attend the service in person Crossroads, Community Church streams their Sunday morning preaching/teaching portion of their service around 10:00 a.m. on Facebook.
